Dr. Alex Feng, an experienced acupuncturist, herbologist and qi gong master, sees patients three days a week at Zhi Dao Guan's Clinic for Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Feng studied traditional Chinese medicine with masters in China and Japan, and also has a doctorate from Samra University in Los Angeles. He has been treating people in the Bay Area for more than 35 years, and has built a reputation as a skilled, caring practitioner. He was recognized in 1997 by San Francisco Focus magazine as one of the best practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Northern California. Dr. Feng was formerly on the faculty of the Oakland acupuncture school, the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences. He has served the TCM community in the U.S. as past Chairman of the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and also serves as a consultant to the California Acupuncture Exam Sub-Committee.

Initial appointments take 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Follow up appointments 45 minutes to an hour. Dr. Feng may use acupuncture, acupressure, qi gong, and/or herbs. The clinic has a range of patent and raw herbs for formulas custom prepared by Dr. Feng.
